Celui qui s’est battu (avec d’autres chefs religieux) pour l’implantation de l’islam dans notre pays, qui nous a inculqué des valeurs du travail et du don de soi, qui s’est sacrifié pour son peuple durant toute sa vie ne devrait-il pas être mieux présenté à cette nouvelle génération ?
Ma relation avec Khadim Rassoul n’a rien à voir avec la politique. Je suis mouride de père et de mère. Je suis mouride dès ma tendre enfance. J’ai toujours assumé mes appartenances religieuses, ethniques et confrériques.

Pour moi l’identité doit être assumée si on en est fier puisque la diversité est une richesse et non une tare. Et c’est le respect de cette diversité qui est le ciment notre cohésion sociale.
Je suis talibé c’est pourquoi je voue énormément de respect à tous ceux qui croient. Qu’ils soient fortement ancrés dans les tarikha où pas.
Et au nom de la république, je respecte le choix des non-croyants. Ils sont aussi nos compatriotes.
Je suis fier de mon ethnie haal pulaar, c’est pourquoi j’adore les autres ethnies et je m’intéresse à leur culture. Ne mélangez pas Touba avec des positionnements politiques. Touba c’est autre chose.
Sur le chemin de mon retour, je me régalais encore des sons de khassida qui passaient en boucle dans ma tête.
