Je me suis rendu cet après-midi à l’aéroport LSS pour accueillir les lions. Ayant été en dehors de Dakar, je n’ai malheureusement pas pu me frayer un chemin vers l’aéroport en voiture. J’ai dû finalement faire appel à une moto pour y accéder.
A mon arrivée, la cérémonie avait débuté et les installations protocolaires déjà faites.
En me voyant arpenter les marches de la tribune et chercher à être orienté par des préposés à la sécurité qui étaient sur le qui-vive Pape Mahawa Semou Diouf, porte-parole de la coalition au pouvoir a fait tout son possible pour assurer mon installation. Les choses paraissant compliquées, il a préféré me céder sa place et tenter d’en chercher une autre.
Je voudrais saluer cet acte républicain qui m’a permis d’assister à la cérémonie et de communier avec les lions.
Il est clair que nous n’aurons pas beaucoup d’occasions de nous rencontrer à des cérémonies officielles compte tenu de nos engagements respectifs, à côté du pouvoir pour l’un et dans l’opposition pour l’autre mais nous sommes tous les deux pour le Sénégal.
