Alors qu’on l’attendait fortement sur une politique cohérente d’endiguement de la COVID-19, l’Etat sénégalais a fini par poser sur la tête de chaque compatriote un supplice de plus, lui imposant ainsi une double peine. Psychologiquement, financièrement, physiquement les populations sénégalaises souffrent de la gestion de cette pandémie tout en étant exposées à une contamination.
Les enseignants exposés puis stigmatisés ont été parmi les dernières victimes d’un pilotage à vue et d’un amateurisme béat. Sur leur tête est mise la responsabilité d’un échec patent dans l’organisation d’une réouverture des classes, une décision qui avait déjà montrée toutes ses limites.
Les désigner comme étant la cause du report est une posture cynique et simpliste qui ne pourra jamais totalement couvrir les errements patents du gouvernement. Ils ont accepté de prendre des risques pour se rendre sur leur lieu de travail et en retour l’Etat qui les a transportés dans des conditions déplorables voudrait ainsi se prévaloir de sa propre turpitude.
Et que dire de ces parents qui ont été traumatisés psychologiquement pendant plusieurs semaines par la perspective d’exposer leurs enfants au risque de contamination à la COVID-19 ? Ces parents ont par la suite passé de l’impact psychologique à l’impact financier. Ils ont pour la plupart pris des dispositions à incidence financière pour que leurs enfants puissent regagner l’école dans les meilleures conditions.
L’Etat sénégalais qui montre tous les jours ses limites dans la gestion de la pandémie engage parallèlement des depenses importantes, dans cette situation de crise, pour finalement se retrouver dans l’impasse.
Combien a coûté tout ce processus d’organisation de la réouverture des classes qui a fini en fiasco ?
Combien nous coûte toutes les mesures inopérantes à incidence financière que le gouvernement sénégalais ne cesse de prendre ?
Au-delà de la liste de nos morts, le bilan du gouvernement devrait désormais s’orienter sur l’impact financier et psychologique qu’il a causé aux populations de par leur amateurisme et leur manque de vision.
