Je vois qu’il y’a beaucoup trop de passion sur la question du voile. Et très franchement je suis très surpris de constater que cela constitue un problème pour certains d’entre- nous. J’avais naïvement pensé que c’était un débat occidental qui ne nous concernait pas.
D’ailleurs en Occident, les plus grands défenseurs du voile sont les membres de l’église catholique face à une société qui tend à bannir la croyance et ses signes distinctifs.
Le pape François dans une interview accordée au journal La Croix disait ceci:
« Un État doit être laïque. Les États confessionnels finissent mal. Cela va contre l’Histoire. Je crois qu’une laïcité accompagnée d’une solide loi garantissant la liberté religieuse offre un cadre pour aller de l’avant. Nous sommes tous égaux, comme fils de Dieu ou avec notre dignité de personne. Mais chacun doit avoir la liberté d’extérioriser sa propre foi. Si une femme musulmane veut porter le voile, elle doit pouvoir le faire. De même, si un catholique veut porter une croix. On doit pouvoir professer sa foi non pas à côté mais au sein de la culture. »
Je ne comprends pas que l’on puisse me rétorquer que dans des établissements islamiques on impose le voile. Je suis d’accord que ce n’est pas normal si ces établissements ont la même visée académique que ceux privés catholique et cela doit être dénoncé.
S’il y’a eu des cas d’imposition de port du voile, qu’ils soient signalés et vulgarisés. Et nous nous battrons aux côtés des victimes. Nul ne doit être au dessus de la loi.
Cependant, quel est le lien avec l’interdiction du port du voile ?
Je pouvais comprendre la démarche d’explication s’il s’agissait de représailles (ils nous ont fait ceci nous avons décidé de leur faire cela) Ce dont je ne peux croire car des représailles contre sa propre famille seraient alors insensées et injustes.
Par conséquent, excluant totalement cette éventualité, il reste que ceux qui veulent interdire le voile nous disent en quoi son port porte préjudice au bon fonctionnement d’un établissement privé.
Dire vaguement que l’établissement en a le droit, n’est pas un argument. En quoi le port du voile gêne-t’il au point que son interdiction soit une nécessité absolue quitte à menacer les fondements d’une cohésion sociale exceptionnelle ?
