Mes chers compatriotes,
Je voudrais à l’entame de mon propos remercier le seigneur qui nous a permis de nous retrouver aujourd’hui.C’est nourri de patriotisme, que je me présente ici, devant vous, empreint de fierté et de modestie, pour traduire notre volonté d’écrire l’une des plus belles pages de l’histoire de notre chère Nation. Soyez assurés que je mesure à juste titre l’immensité de la tâche qui nous échoit tant au regard de l‘histoire qu’à l’aune des défis qui se présentent à nous. Puisse le seigneur nous faciliter pour que soit rétablie notre place dans le concert des Nations de ce monde. C’est le lieu d’ailleurs pour moi, de témoigner ma reconnaissance à l’endroit de ces «plus que frères», qui «épaule contre épaule» ont choisi de se tenir «debout» à mes côtés, décidés à « unir la mer de la vertu et les sources de compétences», pour rendre à nos enfants «l’honneur de nos ancêtres».
J’exprime tout autant ma reconnaissance à ceux et celles qui me portent en prière dans leur for intérieur, me vouent une affection, me manifestent leur soutien et font un témoignage de conviction sur ma modeste personne dans les cercles élargis ou plus restreints.
C’est le lieu aussi pour moi de magnifier la posture de la presse et des médias qui sont restés sourds aux médisances et autres calomnies pour ne relater que la justesse et le bien fondé de notre combat.
Enfin, je réitèrerai ma gratitude à l’endroit de mes ex frères de parti, au premier chef le président Idrissa Seck, et tous ceux qui ont su adopter une posture républicaine suite à ma démission du parti.
Mes chers compatriotes,
Le navire Sénégal se retrouve aujourd’hui entre les mains d’un régime dont le niveau de carence est incommensurable, marqué par l’incompétence, le népotisme, l’incivilité des dirigeants, la corruption, le bâillonnement de l’opposition, l’emprisonnement arbitraire des opposants, l’accaparement des ressources du pays par le clan du président et par dessus tout, la dilapidation de nos ressources naturelles.
Loin des discours creux et intempestifs, la réalité économique de notre pays témoigne d’une situation délétère et préoccupante. Le nombre de pauvres augmente d’année en année. Il est passé de 6,3 millions en 2011 à 6,8 millions en 2016.
À l’heure où on nous parle d’émergence, nous restons bien abonnés au club des 25 pays les plus pauvres du monde. Et dans le classement de l’Indice de Développement Humain entre 2012 et 2016, nous sommes passés de la 154e à la 162e place.
Cette situation catastrophique n’est rien d’autre que la résultante d’une politique de croissance basée sur l’endettement et qui profite essentiellement aux multinationales étrangères. Même s’il faut reconnaître que l’endettement est nécessaire dans un processus d’investissement à grande échelle, il reste évident que notre politique d’endettement n’est qu’une forme d’enrichissement contourné de nos prêteurs avec en ristourne des projets gagnés par des multinationales sans réels appels d’offres.
A titre d’exemple, le TER qui nous coûte excessivement cher n’a en réalité été une option que parce qu’il fallait sauver des emplois en France. Nous avons manifestement un Président de la république qui est peu soucieux des intérêts de son pays.
Selon une enquête réalisée par l’Agence Nationale de la Statistique et de la Démographie (ANSD) en 2017, les PME représentent 99,8% des entreprises du Sénégal mais pèsent pour moins de 20% du PIB. Cette situation est loin d’être fortuite étant donné que seules 28% des PME ont accès à la commande publique.
Dans un monde de compétition où chaque pays arme ses champions pour aller à la conquête du marché international, le régime de Macky Sall ostracisme le privé national qui se voit laissé en rade dans l’attribution des marchés.
Dans un passé récent, le psychodrame que nous avons vécu avec la démission du ministre Thierno Alassane Sall nous a donné la preuve irréfutable que notre Président de la république est à la merci des multinationales qui peuvent faire et défaire notre gouvernement. Ceci doit réveiller ceux et celles qui croient illusoirement que le régime de Macky Sall défend les intérêts du Sénégal. Le bradage de nos ressources naturelles et l’accaparement de celles-ci par sa famille est un affront à la république. D’ailleurs, si nous étions dans une République vertueuse, il aurait déjà été destitué pour haute trahison, tant les scandales sous son magistère sont d’une gravité extrême.
C’est dire que l’avenir de nos jeunes se retrouve hypothéqué, eux qui doivent déjà composer avec des taux d’échecs ahurissants de 70% au baccalauréat et 60% à l’université. Mais en vérité, qui peut feindre être surpris ? Quel autre résultat espérer d’un gouvernement incapable d’organiser le baccalauréat et qui piétine allègrement la noble condition d’enseignant. Comment espérer une formation de qualité pour nos enfants lorsque la vie scolaire est de ce fait, rythmée par des grèves à tout va ?
Autant dire que j’ai mal pour cette jeunesse qui, même lorsqu’elle réussit, à force de travail et d’abnégation, à parachever sa formation, se retrouve confronté à un taux de chômage de 63% selon les chiffres officiels de l’ANSD. J’ai d’autant plus mal lorsque cette jeunesse, désabusée, emprunte les routes du désert, espérant soulager la parenté et vivre dignement dans leur pays.
Nous avons tous mal en tant que patriotes, en tant que citoyens, en tant qu’humains de voir notre pays aller vers l’abîme avec en prime, un recul démocratique patent, sous le regard hagard du citoyen lambda qui assiste médusé à une dictature qui prend forme.
Mais nous devons nous rappeler que ce pays que nous aimons tant a jadis navigué vers des horizons bien plus heureux et souvent bien avant des pays dits développés de nos jours.
Rappelons nous et rappelons le à nos enfants, qu’en 1236 déjà, au sein de l’empire mandingue, était proclamée la charte du Mandé, consacrant des droits et libertés au même titre que la Magna Carta anglaise.
Rappelons-nous et rappelons le à nos enfants, qu’en 1776 déjà, bien avant la révolution française, des fils du Fouta, sous la houlette de Thierno Sileymane Baal, faisaient face à un régime Tiedo qui emprisonnait les innocents, persécutait les patriotes et engraissait ses séides et maîtres de l’étranger. Un régime inique, qui nous rappelle celui du président Macky Sall, qu’ils avaient réussi à déboulonner pour jeter les bases d’une république organisée qui ne saurait souffrir d’une comparaison avec celles dites modernes d’aujourd’hui.
Nous avons vu, sur cette terre, des hommes de volonté briser les chaînes de l’injustice pour donner à leurs concitoyens un rêve, un idéal et un lendemain meilleur.Ceci pour dire que l’ampleur des défis auxquels nous sommes confrontés ne saurait inhiber notre capacité à y répondre tant et aussi longtemps que nous y mettrons une volonté d’agir ensemble dans le seul intérêt de la Nation Sénégalaise. Ce Sénégal d’engagement, de compétences et de valeurs a toutes les cartes pour se réhabiliter mais cela passe inévitablement par le départ du régime incompétent du président Macky Sall qui a fini de plonger le pays dans un climat délétère sans précédent et ce, dans presque tous les secteurs.

Nous ne saurions nous complaire dans un fatalisme coupable qui ferait de nous des complices des prédateurs qui nous gouvernent. De surcroît, une telle posture nous apparaitrait insensé et inconcevable tant nous avons les moyens d’inverser la tendance. Il nous faut simplement agir.AGIR maintenant parce qu’il est temps ! Et c’est donc fort de ce constat amer que nous vous annonçons la mise sur pied de notre mouvement, l’Alliance Générationnelle pour les Intérêts de la République – AGIR, en abrégé.
Par Alliance Générationnelle, nous entendons une jeunesse responsabilisée au plus haut sommet de la sphère étatique, accompagnée d’hommes et de femmes d’expérience, résolue à rompre avec les vieilles pratiques politiciennes, pour sortir le Sénégal de l’abîme et l’installer définitivement au rang des pays modèles, tant sur le plan du développement que sur celui des droits et libertés.
Cette lourde tâche devra nécessairement transcender les clivages idéologiques. Notre logique est que si une mesure libérale peut sortir le pays de la pauvreté, nous la mettrons en œuvre. Si une mesure qualifiée de socialiste peut tirer le Sénégal du gouffre, nous la mettrons en œuvre. En somme, si vous me demandez notre idéologie, je vous dirais que nous sommes des pragmatiques, résolument patriotiques et panafricanistes. Parce que pour un pays pauvre comme le nôtre, nous sommes totalement en phase avec cette affirmation du « petit timonier », Deng Xiaoping, selon laquelle : « Peu importe qu’un chat soit noir ou blanc, pourvu qu’il attrape les souris ».
Cette mentalité de notre mouvement AGIR se retrouve dans son logo symbolisé par les couleurs jaune et gris ; avec une plume jaune sur le « i », tenue par une main.
La couleur jaune
Elle symbolise la richesse de notre pays tant sur les plans humain, intellectuel, culturel qu’en ressources naturelles. Elle renvoie aussi à notre joie d’être, et d’AGIR ensemble ; à la chaleur qui nous unit dans notre diversité ; et à la dynamique de notre mouvement pour atteindre notre objectif.
La couleur gris
Elle est le signe de notre espoir au futur. Un futur marqué par l’émergence d’une génération consciente, n’ayant pas peur de prendre les risques et de sortir des sentiers battus. Notre esprit d’ouverture à tous les courants de pensées, pourvus qu’ils puissent sortir notre pays de la misère, s’illustre par la neutralité du gris.
La plume jaune tenue par une main
Ce symbole fait référence aux moyens en notre possession pour écrire notre histoire. La main représente celle de chaque citoyen sénégalais qui se reconnaît dans notre projet et nos combats. Elle est aussi le symbole de chaque homme et femme, qui, à la plus petite échelle de la vie nationale, refuse de baisser les bras, et contribue à sa manière, à la rédaction de cette nouvelle page de l’histoire de notre pays.
Le « i » et la plume au dessus, renvoient à une bougie allumée pour éclairer les Intérêts de la république qui sont gravement assombris au moment où nous vous parlons.
Le mouvement sera lancé très prochainement dans les 45 départements du pays et les 8 de la diaspora par les membres fondateurs qui avec une spontanéité patriotique, ont activement participé à la mise en marche de ce mouvement. Pour l’heure, vu l’urgence de la situation et surtout fidèle à notre leitmotiv AGIR Maintenant, nous allons, dans les prochains jours, entamer une tournée nationale et internationale, à la rencontre et à l’écoute de nos concitoyens.
Il faut Agir Maintenant!
Agir maintenant pour redonner à notre système éducatif toute sa grandeur et aux enseignants toute leur reconnaissance.
Agir maintenant pour que la santé de proximité soit une réalité, que l’agriculteur soit secouru, que les acteurs de l’informel soient accompagnés, que les pères et les mères de famille puissent avoir une relève digne dans les lourdes taches familiales…
Agir maintenant pour une justice équitable qui garantit l’égalité des hommes et des femmes devant la loi. Une justice qui tournera le dos aux projets politiciens et macabre d’un président de la république et consistant à enterrer des adversaires politiques gênants.
Agir Maintenant pour que Mamadou Diop et tous ces vaillants défenseurs de la République ne grossissent pas les rangs de ces martyrs qui ne témoignent de rien.
Agir maintenant pour que le wax waxeet, la transhumance et cette culte du lidieuneti ou du Door Marteau cèdent le pas à nos valeurs revisitées de Ngor, de Diome, de Fitt et de Ligueye – Jef,Jeul.
Mais aussi et surtout, Agir maintenant pour léguer à nos enfants une République prospère dans une Afrique unie, garantissant la liberté et la justice à tous ses citoyens. Une République qui compte dans le concert des Nations.
