Suite à une longue réflexion, je vous annonce que j’ai décidé, par convenance personnelle, de mettre fin à mes activités au sein de la formation politique, le Rewmi. Mon combat politique, j’ai décidé de le poursuivre autrement, avec des compatriotes du Sénégal et de la diaspora. Mon combat sera exclusivement axé sur la défense des intérêts du peuple sénégalais, gravement menacés aujourd’hui par la mauvaise gestion du régime de Macky Sall.
Dans ces moments difficiles que traverse notre pays, je ne peux ignorer mon devoir et remplir la part de mission qui s’impose à nous tous. Notre devoir ,nous exige d’être aux côtés des populations effarées, victimes de pratiques politiciennes d’hommes et de femmes sans principes et sans valeurs. Des pratiques qui ont fini par installer la peur de l’avenir. Mes chers compatriotes, La situation dans laquelle se trouve notre pays est inquiétante. Le navire Sénégal prend l’eau de toutes parts, le mât craque et l’équipage que constitue ce régime, n’est résolument pas apte à tenir le gouvernail. Aujourd’hui, notre avenir commun est assombri par un défaut de patriotisme manifeste, qui met les intérêts personnels de nos dirigeants au dessus de ceux du Sénégal. Il s’y ajoute une gestion hasardeuse et périlleuse de nos ressources naturelles au profit d’hommes politiques qui se servent de l’État pour satisfaire leurs propres ambitions . Ce constat, ajouté au fait que le régime du président de la République affiche clairement sa volonté de mettre fin à nos acquis démocratiques, au risque de diviser le pays, doit interpeller chaque citoyen. N’oubliant pas, au demeurant, le fait qu’un pan de notre justice est totalement à la solde du parti au pouvoir qui menace nos libertés, nous devons agir ensemble.C’est pourquoi j’entends sous peu, offrir une alternative crédible et rassurante. J’entends faire une jonction de toutes les forces patriotiques au-delà des clivages idéologiques, pour que seul vaille l’intérêt supérieur de la nation sénégalaise. Mes chers compatriotes, J’entends réaliser une alternance générationnelle, pour que la politique se fasse autrement et que les nouveaux défis qui s’imposent à notre pays soient relevés avec responsabilité. J’entends réinscrire le développement humain, le combat contre la pauvreté, la sécurité de toutes et de tous, l’accès à l’éducation et à la santé, au cœur du débat politique et au cœur de notre offre programmatique.
