En annonçant la future création de la monnaie eco, le Président Macron a finalement réussi à diviser les Etats de la cedeao. Le communiqué des gouverneurs de banques centrales et ministres des Finances des Etats de la zone monétaire Ouest-africaine (ZMAO) regroupant 6 Etats de la Cedeao dont le Nigeria et le Ghana, vient ainsi de fustiger la decision unilatérale des pays de l’uemoa de RENOMMER le franc cfa en eco.
Cette posture nous éloigne davantage de l’espoir de l’aboutissement d’une intégration sous régionale qui avait justifiée près de 30 ans de discusions et d’efforts pour la mise sur pied d’une monnaie unique. En prenant les devants avec la création de l’éco sans critères de convergence, avec la garantie de la France et son arrimage à l’Euro, le pacte de la France Afrique a pris le dessus sur les interets légitimes des Etats membres de l’Uemoa. Rien n’aurait été possible sans la complicité de nos chefs d’État en parfaite trahison des aspirations de leur peuple.Y’en a marre de cette Afrique couchée. La reconstruction sera longue mais elle est inéluctable.
